Registration Software

This is from Leslie: The response I received is that we don’t have a way to block registrants from out of the country.  One suggestion is that you could include a registration form question that asks them to check a box that certifies that they are not registering from the EU.

When I asked about Learning Stream’s GDPR compliance and the developer’s understanding of what is necessary, I received the following:

“We have reviewed the requirements and it is our understanding that we are compliant.  Some of the requirements may require that you add language to your event pages or calendars explaining why you are collecting the registrants’ information, how it will be used and how long you intend to keep it.  You will also need to provide contact information that will allow the registrant to contact you if they would like their information removed.”

Hi, would those of you who are using Learning Streaming like to set up a zoom discussion to see if there are any needs or issues, that are common? Hi everyone! Long before the COVID-19 outbreak, we were looking at putting a required course online. We are still waiting for the final materials (partnering with the State of Wisconsin) but I am trying to prepare. We use Learning Stream but have never used these modules. We will have a video and then questions they need to answer. So, here are my questions to those of you who use Learning Stream and do online courses:

- how many modules do I need to purchase to allow people to view the course and take a test?

- once you enter the course and tests into the module, is there anything else you need to do?

- does anyone have a course online in Learning Stream they would allow me to view?
