Based on our experience converting our spring calendar to webinars only, as well as the development of 15 free webinars, the our registration management software support team asked if I'd answer a few questions for the Evolllution, Destiny One Solutions Team. This is from Leslie: The response I received is that we don’t have a way to block registrants from out of the country. One suggestion is that you could include a registration form question that asks them to check a box that certifies that they are not registering from the EU.
When I asked about Learning Stream’s GDPR compliance and the developer’s understanding of what is necessary, I received the following:
“We have reviewed the requirements and it is our understanding that we are compliant. Some of the requirements may require that you add language to your event pages or calendars explaining why you are collecting the registrants’ information, how it will be used and how long you intend to keep it. You will also need to provide contact information that will allow the registrant to contact you if they would like their information removed.”
Hi, would those of you who are using Learning Streaming like to set up a zoom discussion to see if there are any needs or issues, that are common? We have had LS since 2015. I like that you can tie the credit letter to the evaluation and that you can schedule various messages to go out at various dates and times. I also like that with the number of dental schools using LS we have bargaining power and can approach LS to add certain features for us at low to no cost (Media and testing modules, ADA CERP Annual Report)
Dislike- lack of some financial accounting tools and small/limited capacity for handouts.
