Dental schools in Canada, the United States and Puerto Rico are automatically eligible to apply.

Each institution is represented by its individual members, which must include one designated delegate.

Each institution has one voting member.

​

This person must have major administrative responsibility for their continuing dental education department, or be someone appointed by senior administration.

​

Delegates hold the power to vote and are eligible to serve as officers of the assiciation.

The senior administrator of a Member Institution is automatically an Individual Member.

​

Other members of the institution with significant administrative responsibilities may apply for individual membership under their organization's umbrella.

Emeritus status is reserved for former members who have made significant contributions to the field of continuing dental education.
