Do you give CE credit for Lunch and Learns and other student sponsored programs?
We have been approached by a number of student groups this fall wanting to give CE credit for a speaker. My guess is that it is a way to boost attendance as they have to have a certain number of CE credits as a requirement in one of their courses. In the past they would have just offered food at a Lunch and Learn to get a crowd but that isn't feasible at this point. Our concern is being overwhelmed with requests, having to vet the programs, etc. Does anyone do this? If so, do you have a policy you would be willing to share? Thank you!!

Hi Carol, We currently do not because the school removed the student CE requirement a few years ago but they are talking about bringing it back next year. We will have to see the types of lunch and learns that will be offered.
