Advisory Committee
Hi All! I was hoping to get some input regarding advisory committees. I inherited my current committee and looking for ways to restructure/refresh the group. Since COVID, some members have either retired and/or have been so busy that they have become somewhat inactive. I'm looking for any advice on how you retain and/or recruit advisory committee members? Our committee members are all volunteers, so it's been challenging to try to get them motivated, especially with their diminishing capacity. Thanks in advance!

Hi, M. I know we already emailed a bit about the Rutgers CDE committee. but But to share information the group. Our Committee is appointed our committee on committees (yes we have have a committee that make up committees. :-) Members are appointed for a two year term and the terms are staggered. We also have a liaison to represent Hygiene to cover the CERP requirements.
I think now that every one has adjusted to the world of Zoom, I will put together as focus group made up of our past registrants and another of faculty.
