Interesting data on direct mail.

According to the Data and Marketing Association, direct mail is making a comeback because marketing plans are reaping rewards when direct mail is included in the mix:

- Up to 90% of direct mail gets opened

- The average lifespan for direct mail is 17 days - versus 17 seconds for email.

- At a return on investment of 112%, direct mail beats out email and social marketing
