Course Sponsors and Course Attendee Info
What do you all do when a course sponsor asks for course attendee info? I usually tell them that we do not have the participants' permission to release their contact info, so we don't. But they are asking ALL. THE. TIME. so somebody out there must be giving out info? (not saying ACDE is, but just in general) How do you handle it? Do you say no; do you give names only; do you give names and cities. How do you provide this info to the participants? Do you have a waiver on your registration that says their names (etc.) could be given to course sponsors to cover your liability to giving the info out? When it's a sponsor who gave $500 for a table, no trouble standing firm with no. But what about $5k? $10k? Thanks in advance,
Sally

Thanks Amanda. That does make sense. I think my concern with it is more of sharing any info in general and the sue-happy nature of the American culture. I don't recall specific ADA CERP rules, etc., per se.
