Thank you, ACDE!

Dear ACDE Friends,

I wanted to share that I will be leaving my role in Continuing Dental Education at OHSU to begin a new position with the OHSU School of Medicine. My last day with the School of Dentistry will be July 7th.

As I reflect on the past ten years in continuing dental education, I realize just how much this community has meant to me. While our CE offices are spread across the country and each of us is busy serving our own institutions, ACDE has never allowed us to feel like we were doing it alone.

People often say, "It takes a village," and I truly believe ACDE has been that village for me.

Whenever I had a question, needed advice, wanted to brainstorm an idea, or simply needed reassurance that I wasn't the only one navigating a challenge, someone in this group was there. You have all been incredibly generous with your time, knowledge, and willingness to share your experiences. That spirit of collaboration is something special, and I don't think we say "thank you" for it often enough.

I have learned so much from all of you, not just about continuing education, accreditation, and program management, but about leadership, innovation, and the value of lifting one another up. The friendships I've made through ACDE have been just as meaningful as the professional knowledge I've gained.

Although I'm stepping away from dental continuing education, I know I'll always have dental blood running through my veins. This profession has shaped a large part of who I am, and I will always be grateful for the opportunities, mentorship, and friendships it has given me.

Thank you for welcoming me into this incredible community over the past decade. It has truly been an honor to learn alongside all of you.

Please don't be a stranger. I sincerely hope we'll stay in touch, and I would love to continue hearing about the amazing work happening at your institutions. If you're ever in Oregon, or if there's ever anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to reach out.

You can always reach me at rainycase11@gmail.com.

Thank you again for everything you've given me over the years. I look forward to cheering on all the incredible work you'll continue to do for the profession.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Alexandria Case
